I was told that what had happened to Nathan was going to happen to her, and it was too late to stop it by helping her indulge.

What could I possibly say? I was killing her, and it wasn't like I could just... not kill her. No amount of apologies or explanations would have changed that.

Felt bad to see you talking about potentially switching somebody out your life for somebody else's. Since you weren't caught, it felt a bit... rude.

You know... We only had those two letters go through, and everybody alive hated the idea of it so much.

Not to mention it didn't sound like a guaranteed kind of power either.

I think they would have hated the idea less if I could have said anything about what I did, but - I literally couldn't. The words wouldn't come out when I tried to.

But you knew. I wasn't sure how many letters you had left, or if you'd be able to say something through the mirror when Medb used it. That's part of why I thought you all should have the opportunity to weigh in - you had the whole picture when the rest of us didn't.

We had bigger problems than trying to switch out a killer for an innocent. All of us are here now, and all that really succeeded in doing is to make both sides of this situation upset.
