I don't think we are - I've only run into one person who's talked about any places I recognize. Everything else is new to me so far.

I guess I haven't really talked about where I'm from... I live on Veludo Way. It's sort of... a district that's all about acting and theater.

I've definitely never heard of that place before, but it sounds like it must be full of interesting people like you, Omi!

Oh they're interesting, they're just... a lot. But I live with 23 so maybe that's why?

One of them is our director and the other is our general manager. They work hard, but they're definitely not actors.

Right? Most of the theaters don't have dorms, but this one did. It's the reason we got some of our members.

It doesn't sound like a bad deal. You get to do a job you enjoy, and you get a roof over your head. What's not to love?

And I get to cook for people I care about.

Exactly! That's always a plus, too.

That makes sense! Being there gives you lots of opportunities to practice, right?

Yup! And lots of different kinds of dishes. Nobody's got the same favorite food.

Have you gotten to cook much here? There's so many of us, I'm sure you'll have plenty of chances to make new stuff!

It's been more baking than cooking, but that's fine too.

That's a pork belly dish, right? I've done something pretty similar, but I haven't done that exactly. Have you made it?

I'm afraid not - I've never really done much cooking. I've just seen him eat it a lot.
