anyway, into the room they go, and the door shuts behind them. she takes a few breaths, trying to calm down, and brings a hand up to her face to rub at her eyes.]

I went to go and find Ming-xiong, because he left in a hurry when we woke up, and... he was looking for his shovel. It was gone when we woke up this morning. [which, uh, looks bad?] And - he said his boots didn't fit right... that's true too, I saw them. There was blood on them, and it wouldn't come off at all, which... that's not natural, right? If it was real, if he'd actually hurt someone, the blood could have been wiped off...!

molly will just immediately put his hands on either side of her shoulders, trying to steer her to sit down at least, so she can breathe a bit.]

Were they the same boots he always wears? Or did they somehow become switched? Maybe-- the illusions tend to be hints, correct? Maybe it's just trying to lead us in the right direction. To the person that stole the shovel, perhaps.

[she squeezes his hands gently when he takes them, then breathes out.]

He said they felt too small - they were pinching. So, they must have been switched, somehow. [...] Right. That - that has to be it.

He said he... argued with Vlad last week, during the execution... So he thinks that someone remembered that and is going to try and use that to hide what they did.
