I think after everything we've experienced here, if anyone thinks what happened to you makes you sound insane, that's more of a problem with them than with you.
[like... you'd really have to be living in denial at this point...]
...but you really don't have to talk about it, if you don't want to. It's just - some things can eat you alive, if you keep them to yourself, but you're the only one who can decide when to share them. As long as you know you have someone who's willing to listen, that's enough.
I suppose I skimmed over it, but. It's important. I saw-- Yasha. Or a version of her. She looked as if she were being controlled. Something in her face. She was attacking Beauregard, and the illusion left me with an image of her body, in the end. She-- It was an illusion, but one that was obviously attempting to dig at me.
At that point, I heard Grace shouting and I was able to meet up with her, and we entered the last room on my floor together. Outside the door, we heard familiar voices. Yuel, and Gu Yun. Their voices-- sounded real. They answered true. And fucking stupidly I opened the door for them. I mean, Grace had appeared? Why not them?
Obviously, instead they immediately set about attacking us. Gojou heard the commotion and joined us, as well as Douman, with Omi in tow.
she can assume, from the fact that gu yun, yuel, and omi did not stumble out of there bleeding, that the three of them were all illusions. kind of strange that there were only three illusions, but four of them that came back, though, isn't it...?
but that's less important than what molly actually went through. her brow furrows.]
How awful... [seeing your friends turning on each other - and then having your friends turn on you, too. it's awful just to hear it, but it must have been even worse to experience it.] Did they help you try to fight them off...?
I-- yes. After a fashion. Gojou immediately helped. The Omi that was with Douman started screaming his head off about how we were going to kill them all. But it was a small room and a lot of us. We got them subdued, but, I suppose I wasn't paying attention and.
[Gestures to Chest.]
Once they were down, Gu Yun, Yuel, Omi-- the doors were gone. I was bleeding out into my own body. But we had this ... not a voice. A feeling? ... You want it. You want what you desire more than anything else. Anybody else? They're nothing. They are in the way. This whole place has just been illusions. How do you know what's real and what isn't?
But Yuel was crying, too, when she shoved that fucking club into me. It just looked like Yasha's face, and-- I told myself. Not a road carved in blood. Douman suggested it so easily. That we should just do something else with them. That I was being a fool.
Grace shot Yuel. Then disappeared. I don't-- the feeling was so strong. I can't blame her.
Douman and Gojou argued over who would get to slice Omi's throat. Honestly, don't remember who won out in the end. Gojou, I think. Douman screamed to the heavens about it. Then they disappeared.
I sat there and bled, I suppose. A decision as much as any other.
[this is so incredibly upsetting and i am definitely going to cry when i read your cyoa at unlocks
also can molly please stop dying of impalement? please? that would be nice.
she doesn't look at him like she thinks he's crazy, at least. so there's that. it's just... awful. the fact that he and the others had to go through this at all is just twisted. what purpose could it possibly serve? she doesn't understand, and might never understand. why does this place seem so hell-bent on making them suffer...?]
...you still made it back. So that's - it was a painful decision, but it was yours, and you came back to us.
Even if it was just an illusion, I can't - I can't fault you for what it sounds like you chose. [not wanting to walk a path of blood... she gets that, honestly.] ...I can't fault the others for what they did, either.
Thought I was going to fucking die watching that boner squad stage show climax, honestly. My vision is fading and it's all aaaah! I curse you! I curse you with every fiber of my being!

Ah. I don't mind. I just don't know to explain it very well that doesn't make me sound insane.

Yes, that's true, isn't it. some things can eat you alive. molly just tilts his head while he thinks it over, and then.]
I can tell you. I want to tell you. I just-- I don't know what the whole picture means. Or how to interpret it in a way that can be helpful.
We were in an inn. At first, I was by myself. Going from room to room. Visions of my friends. Of me. Of my own grave.

she's quiet, listening to his explanation, though her expression tightens a little at my own grave.]

That I did. Though next time I'm faced with a mortal wound, I think I'd prefer, I don't know. A nice decapitation.

I'm only teasing, darling. For you, I will keep my head exactly where it belongs.

Good, good.

Maybe it was foolish of me to come that close to throwing it away again in the first place.

It's a personal choice.

I won't fault Grace.
I will fault Gojou and Douman for that oddball little big dick contest over who gets to murder the shit out of poor Omi. That was fucking weird.

[well. yeah. okay. she was thinking more in general terms, but she nods at that.]
That sounds like it was, um, messy.
[and then two of the people involved died the same night! wowee!]

Bit dramatic.

...a bit, yes. [...] I suppose the next couple of days might be a bit awkward for the three of them.
[hopefully they won't all have to see it!
(they won't. someone murdered and spared the entire game front-seat tickets to the soap opera.)]
