I know it's just because they care, but... really! I'm more than five hundred years old, a couple of bruises are hardly going to ruin me, I'll recover from them. As long as nothing messes up my face, it's fine!

That's good - for you! I've been known to go on rampages when my face has been damaged. Ahaha, HK-47 should have scratched my face first, I definitely would have beaten him down before he could do anything else then.

whirls on him and throws a punch!! she doesn't not punch especially hard, but she's speedy, at least; she dances back away from him almost as soon as she makes contact, to avoid a retaliatory strike.]

[he blocks the punch—and she's right to move away immediately, because he doesn't hesitate to try and throw a punch back. that won't stop him from lunging after her, though, also relatively quick on his feet.

yeah me too. anyway! they fight. white gets his wrath indulgence in for the week. sqx gets some bruises that will hopefully get her scapegoated at trial. he does not bruise her face, so we don't have to report an off-schedule murder in the gym.

when they're finished, she laughs, trying to catch her breath.]

You're really tough!

white's taking stock, before he looks over his own bruises.]

Hey, I try to be! [there's a swell of pride, though it tapers off into something a bit more somber.] You're not so bad yourself.

[she smiles, also proud of herself. she didn't immediately get beaten down; that's progress... it's canon that she isn't built for prolonged fights, though. she'd make a terrible martial god.]

Ahaha, normally no one can even get close enough to fight me, but things are different here.

The whole no powers thing sucks, doesn't it?

Ahaha, I control the wind. Normally, no one can get close enough to lay a finger on me - I'd blow them away if they tried!

Fire...? Most of us are able to use spiritual energy to create a palm torch - [she holds her hand out, palm up, and mimes flames spouting out from it with her other hand] - though there's not much more we do with it than that.

How do people use it where you're from?

Blast it around, pretty much? I know one guy who basically wields the power of the sun, since his fire gives off, like, actual sunlight. The flames are seriously hot too, but that's what you get from a guy who got his powers from the creator of the world.

He sounds really powerful. Though it also seems like that's the sort of power he could realy easily hurt someone with by accident...?

Well, never heard of him setting anyone on fire that he didn't mean to, so it's probably fine...?
