I thought so, too. A bit irreverent, maybe. Could have hit someone's sore spot without realizing? ... Still seems a bit weak, for a murder motive.

That it does. [...] It's very hard to imagine anyone who's left killing her, even if she did hit a sore spot of some kind...

On the other hand, perhaps it wasn't about her.

...but what else could it be about? She's the only one who died.

I just mean if, hypothetically... that robot wasn't the only one among us who would kill for the sake of killing.

I have talked to some people who seem to believe that only one person here will have their wish granted, in the end. That we're all in competition, and that logically, the smartest thing to do is to eliminate some of those competitors.

Mm... I think if that was actually the case, we'd have all been told so from the start. Otherwise, it's an unfair competition, don't you think? If only some people were to know about that.

Besides, I seem to recall someone mentioning that it was more like a... lottery. That there could be multiple winners, but that there would be less overall if more people won. So perhaps, they are trying to knock some of the competitors out to increase their chances, but I'm not sure where the idea that only one person would get what they wanted came from...

I have the sense that there are a lot of things we haven't been properly told about this whole arrangement.

...Unfortunately, the specific people who I know held that idea are no longer with us, so they won't be suspects in the coming trial.
