on the table in the living area is a vaguely goth flower arrangement, made of black, white, and deep red roses. similar flowers can be found here and there throughout the apartment, kept in repurposed jars and wine bottles. there are some cute flowery magnets on the fridge. the condom bowl has been replaced with a tasteful fruit bowl.]

but onward to lenore's room they go! she can't help but be a little curious as she looks around, and she smiles at the flowers throughout the apartment.]

[she’ll lead the way to the loft, which has even more of those flowers! the coffee table by the couch also has some books, and a plate of cookies set out for guests. there’s also a stack of clean mini-towels, topped with some rolls of bandages.]

I suppose I do. I thought it might put people at ease. Most people would consider being bitten by a vampire to be a scary thing.
