Oh. Floaty puppy, okay. [ she tilts her head away from the licking but will pick up the dog anyway, petting him ] You know, there's tons of dogs like these on the train.

[the floaty puppy licks at the air when she tilts her head away, then puts a paw on her shoulder.]

Hmhmm. There's a whole car full of dogs somewhere on the train. [ whos a good comfort dog. yes you are. yes you are. ]

[comfort dog is doing his best and cuddling up to grace!!]

Aaah, that sounds like a nice car.

I've never been, but some of the dogs have visited other cars, so. These talk, though.

[if this dog could talk it would probably be "feel better soon, grace!" he is just trying so hard to cuddle up to her.]

Well... what sorts of things do they normally want to say?

[she watches the dog cuddling up to grace.]

They seem so happy all the time.

I guess.. Their lives? They have a whole kingdom, so they're kind of pompous. But they're still... dogs. So they'll ask you to pet their bellies sometimes.

A whole kingdom of dogs?

That's what they say? I've never been there.

Seems like that would be an interesting place to go!

I guess so? The cars shift on the train all the time, though, so it's hard to guess where that one is.

I see... you know, this train of yours really does sound like quite the interesting place.

It is. Definitely a lot cooler than this one.

People aren't very good at keeping their mouths shut, usually. Even if they don't kill again, they're bound to let it slip at some point.
