A little. Where I'm from, we're taught that any god or gods that exist are...hmm. Well. 'Above it all'? They're some sort of higher power that doesn't have the trappings of a mortal life. But then again, I've also never met a god in my world. They might not exist there.

Weeeell... we're supposed to be. There are a lot of legends like that about us, too.

...but we're people as well as gods, and we were all human once. It might have been centuries since we were mortal, and we may get a little too used to how things are in the heavens - but some things just don't fade.

That's still strange to think of, that there is no 'higher being' and you all just got believed into godly power.

Hmm... I never thought about it as strange, but... that's just always been how it was. I guess it'd be strange if you grew up believing something else, though!

Mmm. I don't believe anything I can't see for myself, honestly. If a system of deities was based around actual people who can show up and act, then I could believe that. But not some "just have faith in a higher power" nonsense.

I guess it's hard to have faith in something you've never seen... that's pretty normal, I think! Even in the heavens, there are gods who won't believe something until they see it!

That seems like a very human kind of skepticism, yes. And being able to prove something is far more trustworthy than 'just believe me'. Perhaps seeing your memory was a boon in that case.
