It's mainly people here who keep saying it... which, I've heard a little about some of the gods from their worlds? And I don't think I like them very much! I can't blame anyone for having a bad impression of gods after dealing with all of that!
Makes you even more of an outlier! If all of us have the same weird and bad experiences with gods, it makes one like you that much more refreshing. It'd be nice if all of ours were like you, too.
Hm... I feel like that's not too much of a concern.
[But he says it in a gently teasing way, rather than a genuinely mean one. SURELY SHE KNOWS SHE HAS A BIG FAT EGO.]
You deserve it, though! It's kinda nice to feel like someone with that power's, like... I dunno. Nice enough to be worried about little stuff like a broken wrist.
[giggling, of course. she knows she has one, and she knows it's absolutely deserved. (someday she's going to get knocked down a few pegs and it'll be really funny. i hope that happens here.)]
I can't think of anyone who wouldn't be worried about something like that. Even my brother would be unsettled if he saw what I saw!
Oh, we certainly see our fair share of violence - but nearly taking off your whole hand in a single blow? And then seeing you act like it was nothing? Of course that's worrying!
Well, we gods were human, before we ascended. And ghosts are typically humans who lingered with a grudge or a resentment or some other strong attachment after their deaths...
So a human won't necessarily always be a human, is all.
Ah! I see... [A pause, and then, curious:] Wouldn't you say that still makes you human at the core, though? Even if hundreds of years pass, you came into existence as a human and started building yourself up from there.

What? Really? Don't gods see things like that all the time...?

...well, I imagine fights between humans go a little differently.

Yeah, because they're way more fragile.

Oh, well. Humans will always be humans in the end, huh? Like spirits will always be spirits, and gods will always be gods, I guess.

However I've changed, whether I'm human or a god, I'm still me.
