...how do you feel about dogs? I bet I could convince one to come back here from the dog park.

Dogs are good. [ she grins lightly ] Just don't pick one of the fire breathing ones.

she returns with a dog that is very happy to see grace.]

Oh, wow. [ grace moves stiffly when it comes to crouching down for the dog, but she's able to and that is what matters ] Heyyy, puppy. He's so short.

[shiftingwinds]

[the puppy gives a little yip!

and then floats up to meet grace partway so she doesn't have to move too stiffly so that he can lick her face.]

Aww, he likes you.

[alteracion]

Oh. Floaty puppy, okay. [ she tilts her head away from the licking but will pick up the dog anyway, petting him ] You know, there's tons of dogs like these on the train.

[shiftingwinds]

Really?

[the floaty puppy licks at the air when she tilts her head away, then puts a paw on her shoulder.]

Hmhmm. There's a whole car full of dogs somewhere on the train. [ whos a good comfort dog. yes you are. yes you are. ]

[shiftingwinds]

[comfort dog is doing his best and cuddling up to grace!!]

Aaah, that sounds like a nice car.

[alteracion]

I've never been, but some of the dogs have visited other cars, so. These talk, though.

[ and this one doesn't he just floats. ]

Really? What do they say?

[if this dog could talk it would probably be "feel better soon, grace!" he is just trying so hard to cuddle up to her.]

Anything they want?

[ grace does not seem to understand the question ]

Well... what sorts of things do they normally want to say?

[she watches the dog cuddling up to grace.]

They seem so happy all the time.

[alteracion]

I guess.. Their lives? They have a whole kingdom, so they're kind of pompous. But they're still... dogs. So they'll ask you to pet their bellies sometimes.

A whole kingdom of dogs?

[alteracion]

That's what they say? I've never been there.

[shiftingwinds]

Seems like that would be an interesting place to go!

[alteracion]

I guess so? The cars shift on the train all the time, though, so it's hard to guess where that one is.

[shiftingwinds]

I see... you know, this train of yours really does sound like quite the interesting place.

[alteracion]

It is. Definitely a lot cooler than this one.

Too bad we can't take the people here and put them there instead! ...well, the ones who aren't murdering us, anyway.
