But as for why I agreed to be here... it's no real secret. [she shrugs.] There's a monster that's been stalking me. I've been lucky enough to have friends who will help me deal with it, but it could get dangerous - so when I got the chance to earn the power to deal with it on my own, I took it.

[He listens to that politely, and then actually goes quiet for a moment? He has barely shut his mouth the whole he’s been in here. But then he just nods, back to bright smiles.]
