We did. The others were badly hurt before I... [passed out from blood loss] ...well, I just hope they're recovering well.

[she casts a worried look in the direction of the pods]

Mm.... I'll talk to them, too.

[ he needs to see what info he can get from them so. ]

I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

[she smiles faintly]

...do you remember, I mentioned something I experienced in the simulation room at the meeting? We - there was a moment near the end where we all experienced that same sort of change.

... I wonder if that's similar to what's happening with the Avatars...

[shiftingwinds]

...I think so. The changes were very similar to what I've seen happening to some of them.

[ he nods. ]

I wonder what it means... well. If that's all, I'll get out of your way.

We started off in what looked like a bedroom in a space station. The door was jammed shut, and we had notes that had a to-do list on them.

Once we looked around the room, the only way out was to go through the vents because we couldn't get the door open. That's... where we first encountered the furry thing.

[ he'll nod. ]

Did you get away that time?

[shiftingwinds]

[she nods back]

Endorsi and Medb fought it off. When we got through the vents, there was a table that a bunch of bodies were slumped over at...

[dotcom]

Just... random bodies?

[shiftingwinds]

People we knew from here. And... we couldn't see them clearly right away, but people we knew from home, too.

[dotcom]

... yeah, that fits in with all the others.

[shiftingwinds]

[she sighs]

The ones we could see clearly right away looked... dead. [she hates it, thanks.] ...but they were - we found wires, on them. And after we did, wounds appeared in the back of our necks.

We had to put the wires into our necks, and when we did, we were drained of our energy and they... they vanished. But then the other bodies started to move.

[dotcom]

Did they attack you after?

[ he assumes that everything just attacks you at this point ]

[she nods]

...they were people we knew from home. And they tried to kill us.

[dotcom]

... yeah. That's usually how it goes.

[ he sighs. ]

Did you get away?

[shiftingwinds]

...eventually. They had - buttons, on the back of their necks. When they were pressed, they stopped moving.

[dotcom]

... okay.

It must have been difficult.

[shiftingwinds]

[she puts a hand over her throat, where there are some partly-faded bruises.]

...it was. But we got through it, and - we had to go through the vents again, to keep going. We made it through without running into the creature again and came out in a hallway.

There was a door at the end of it - that one opened. There was a... podium... inside it. We started hearing noises from the vents, so I threw something in there to try and distract whatever was in there, and we went for it.

But the creature, it - came out of it and tried to follow us. There was a button to close the door, but I didn't press it in time. It got caught under it, but it was able to get through.

Is that when it got you?

[ she did say she kicked it when they were in the vents. ]
