...only to return with a little box of cream puffs which these particular ones may not be sold at airports but i have DEFINITELY seen cream puffs sold at airports before, so there. so she sets the box of it down next to him.]

he glances down at the offered food. there's a moment of nothing, before he reaches out to grab one. ]

[they're strawberry and sakura cream puffs, so it should probably be sweet...? hopefully he won't hate it!

she smiles faintly when he reaches out to take one, though, and there's a sense of relief. good. has he eaten since the trial? maybe cream puffs aren't the most nutritious food but it's better than nothing.]

[she was here to try and help him, not to bother him - so, she'll leave.]

[ there's a... complicated feeling. it's not quite guilt, but it's something that's at least similar enough. but he also won't tell her to stay.

so instead he just looks back out the window. ]
