how do they even wake up from this, she's not sure. maybe she should have asked him how they got out of it before they started this? she didn't anticipate him reacting this way to whatever his dream is showing him.
anyway, she'll keep her hold on him and if thinking "i'd like to wake up now" doesn't work, she'll try to shift the dream to something she'd dream of instead? can she do that?? if they're able to ~lucid dream~ this she's going to try and change their surroundings to a garden in one of the palaces of the heavenly realm unless you had more you wanted to do with this dream in which case she fails miserably.]
[ the good news is that the dream is probably going to hit the 5 minutes and end, and we should probably kick them out just because this is a monday thread and it's not almost midnight thursday i'm in tears ]
Where I'm from, it's not really common for people to just be carrying weapons around like a lot of other worlds here. In most places it's fully illegal, and in others there are exceptions. But the country I used to live in has a major gun problem to the point where people have been hugely desensitized to things like mass shootings and don't really blink anymore at this kind of news.

It's just how life is, but it's not really something I can accept.

his breathing is still uneven, but when the scenery changes, he... it's less that he's calming down but he's not getting any worse. ]
Did you get shot?
no subject

But I apologize that you had to see that.
