...I wasn't under the impression that the two of them spent much time together, so it'd be odd for them to have been together last night, wouldn't it? If it was one person, whomever it was likely would have needed to look for them separately.

Mm. So it would have been someone who had some reason to go through that trouble. While it's not completely impossible, it's more likely it was two different people.

That's what I'd think... unless they just so happened to pick the same place to spend the night, and it was just a coincidence. But if that's the case, whoever did it would almost certainly have to be injured.

Or... [she thinks about kaz] ...ah, it'd be more of a one-on-one fight, I think, but even someone inexperienced can still leave a mark by chance, if someone is otherwise occupied.

It's more complicated if it's two culprits, but I suppose we'll find out once we can begin looking around.

Mm. The fact that the body doesn't show up until we explore is kind of inconvenient since it takes us that much longer to get a better idea of the case, but at l east now we have a better idea of how it works.

That's true. And if nothing else, it does force us to consider any evidence found in those locations before making potentially incorrect assumptions based on the injuries alone.

... nine hours still isn't enough time, but we can try to come up with a way to use it more wisely this time.

There are enough of us - perhaps we could divide into two groups and each focus our efforts on solving one of the deaths, so we can maximimze the time we have.

Maybe. That might depend on how fast the groups who go to investigate though.

Hmm, that's true... and if they ended up going to places that were involved in the same death, it would slow down the other group since they wouldn't have anything to work with.

A lot of things depend entirely on chance, at least at the beginning. I think it might get easier to tell which evidence belongs to which case as we go on, but when we can't examine the body right away, it'll be harder to tell.

I suppose we'll simply have to adjust what we're doing as we make progress tomorrow, then.
