I'll be the first to admit that the heavens can be kinda corrupted [skills: investigating heavenly corruption] but, seriously! Gods are supposed to take good care of their followers. Tch, just because my brother is the Water Tyrant, I'm supposed to be a tyrant too?

Says a lot about how good of a job they do in general if people keep singling you out for being a kind one, huh?

It's mainly people here who keep saying it... which, I've heard a little about some of the gods from their worlds? And I don't think I like them very much! I can't blame anyone for having a bad impression of gods after dealing with all of that!

Makes you even more of an outlier! If all of us have the same weird and bad experiences with gods, it makes one like you that much more refreshing. It'd be nice if all of ours were like you, too.

Spirits tend to get in a few here and there, yeah, but I don't think it's that different from how often humans get into fights with each other.

Oh, well. Humans will always be humans in the end, huh? Like spirits will always be spirits, and gods will always be gods, I guess.

Well, we gods were human, before we ascended. And ghosts are typically humans who lingered with a grudge or a resentment or some other strong attachment after their deaths...

So a human won't necessarily always be a human, is all.

Ah! I see... [A pause, and then, curious:] Wouldn't you say that still makes you human at the core, though? Even if hundreds of years pass, you came into existence as a human and started building yourself up from there.

Hmm... I don't know. Maybe. I'm pretty different now than I was when I was mortal, but...

However I've changed, whether I'm human or a god, I'm still me.
